Liquidation is the process through which a company's assets are sold, and the proceeds are distributed to creditors and members based on the priority outlined by company law. We can assist with the three types of liquidation:
A Members' Voluntary Liquidation (MVL) occurs when a solvent company, through its directors and members, decides to wind up the company in order to liquidate its assets and distribute the remaining funds to its shareholders.
We support directors in preparing the Declaration of Solvency and guide them through all necessary procedures to convene the Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM). We also handle the required filing processes and serve as Liquidator.

A Creditors' Voluntary Liquidation (CVL) is typically initiated by a company in financial distress, with its board leading the process. In this liquidation, the primary focus is on protecting the interests of the creditors.
We assist by advising directors on their legal obligations, helping the company comply with the procedural steps to enter liquidation, accepting the role of Liquidator, and liquidating the company's assets to benefit all creditors.

Court Liquidation is initiated through a court order, typically following a petition filed by the company or a creditor who asserts that the company is unable to meet its debt obligations.
We accept appointments as court-appointed or official liquidators. Once appointed, we focus on liquidating the company's assets to maximise returns for the creditors.
